Years ago, didn't Congress pass a law mandating that the US become metric?
The entire world is except us. I realize this would be a difficult task,
but how have other countries done it? We are the wealthiest, most
industrialized country on Earth, yet are still using confusing and
outdated units. I don't understand this.
We could do away with gallons. feet, pounds, and miles, and not have to
worry so much about these unit conversions and focus more on understanding
physics and how the world works.
