Oops!. I just noticed a typo in my earlier response to Ken Fox's
question. I had accidentally written:

(1/2)*arcos(0) = [pi]/2 rad = 45 deg

when what I mean to write was:

(1/2)*arcos(0) = (1/2)*([pi]/2) rad = [pi]/4 rad = 45 deg .

I trust that slip of an intermediate factor of (1/2) didn't
confuse too many readers.
