JUNE 30 DEADLINE FOR INTRODUCTORY CALCULUS BASED PHYSICS CONFERENCE
For information about registration and on-line hotel reservation for the
September 19-21, 2003 Introductory Calculus-Based Physics Course

The 127th AAPT National Meeting in Madison, WI will feature an Apparatus
Competition. Prizes range from $100 up to $1,000. Request Apparatus
Competition entry materials by June 1, 2003; the requested deadline for
Apparatus Competition applications is July 1, 2003. To obtain an entry
form or to get more information about the competition, please go to http://www.aapt.org/Contests/apparatus.cfm
Three tours are planned for the summer meeting in Madison: Yerkes
Observatory (August 4, 8 a.m.-10 a.m.), Synchrotron Radiation Center
(August 4, 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.) and Taliesin (August 5, 9:00 a.m.
- 11:00 a.m.) The registration form and deadline information, as well as
