[received on Sunday, May 10, 2015 from Kathy Harper, PhD, organizer
of the 3 OSU Modeling Workshops. -- Jane Jackson]
We will have room for several out-of-state participants
in this year's Modeling workshops coming up in June, just outside of
Columbus, OH. We will start on either June 8 or 9 (should know very
soon - the winter weather stretched the school year a bit at our host
institution) and end June 26.
We have seats available in physics (mechanics),
chemistry, and Modeling curriculum writing. (Our location is usually
the only place to offer the curriculum workshop - there is a
requirement that you have already taken a 3-week workshop in either
mechanics, physical science, or chemistry.)
Participants have the option of registering for 4
graduate science credits, with tuition paid for by the ITQ grant that
sponsors the workshops.
We have funds to pay for housing at a nearby motel
for out-of-town participants.
There is no charge to take the workshop.
Share the information with anyone who might be
interested. We enjoyed having several out-of-state participants last
year, and look forward to hosting some again.
