Hmmm....let's start by picking on John Denker in one of his not unusual
tears.


That's exactly to the point, the main science students learn is that anyone
starting out of the convenient box of dogmas should be ridiculed down, not
collaborated up in his attempt.


Here's my conclusion: if you want to pick the bones out of physics texts,
start
with the LATEST edition!


I believe, his main point was not to pick the bones out of the specific
physics texts, but, rather to raise a flag, that the new generation is
forced to operate out of the realistic scientific framework. His attempt to
illustrate the idea with the specific physics texts was, probably, not the
best, but, is not the main purpose of the Phys-L forum to let its members
to collaborate to find out better pro- or contra- examples?
