Hi,

	My A/C unit has a ramp up and ramp down on the distribution 
fan.  It drains the last bit of cool out of the system and 
ducts.  It is also more comfortable as there are no blasts 
of cold air (or hot air in the winter).

	About 5 years ago, we replaced our 25 year old A/C unit. 
Electric bills for the peek summer months is $125 - $200 per 
month lower.
