Re: [Phys-l] frizzi

Hi all-
Fact gathering and decision-making are two separate and distinct activities. Some might want to go back and read the opening remarks of Morse and Kimball, a pair of very talented scientific advisors, who wrote a book, "Methods of Operations Research". Of the scientist wants to be heard, as a scoemtost. he/she must stay clear of the decision-making function. That ruie has unfortunately been avoided in the discussions of climate warming, with the result that the science has been obscured (or obfuscated.

Jack

Science is used during the internet age, it hardly rules. Few
politicians use it to help make decisions. They undermine or deny it
while making their speeches.
