Agreed!

My take on this is that there are no incompressible fluids,
period.

Sometimes you can expand things in a Taylor series and
sometimes some results depend only on the zeroth-order
term ... but this is a statement about the convenience
of the approximation, not about the underlying physics
... and the very next application may require keeping
the higher-order terms.
