[Phys-l] moonless, with a chance of fireballs

The Lyrid meteor shower is forecast for tonight i.e. the
wee hours of Wednesday morning.
The expected peak is April 22nd at about 11:00 UTC i.e.
4:00 PDT.
You never know exactly when the peak will show up, but
if it shows up early or late it is probably weak so you
won't feel bad about missing it.
Lyrids are not particularly numerous, but some of them
are huge and bright and leave glowing trails.
