You're right -- what I wrote was flippant.

But even Three Mile Island has had an impact on nuclear power's portrait in the US, and no one died from it at all. I just meant that the citizenry is all too ready to emphasize a potential small number of deaths from nuclear power, but they ignore the bigger picture of deaths from the pollution of coal.
