Hi all-
What textbook? The culture that I witness (hs and college level), the student sells the textbook immediately after the course ends - if not sooner.

the textbook several semesters later and successfully look up something and
apply it? Viewed from this perspective, the textbook becomes a test of
understanding rather than a teaching tool.
