Assistant Professor, Physics or the Physical Sciences



Holy Cross College announces an opening for an assistant professor in
physics or the physical sciences for the 2005-2006 academic year. The
full-time position will include teaching liberal arts physics and the Great
Ideas science course for liberal studies majors. Requirements for the
position include a graduate degree in physics or another physical science
(Ph.D. preferred) and a real interest in teaching at the college level.
Prior teaching experience is desirable. The person may also teach either a
science or a computer technology course in the information systems
concentration within the liberal studies program. The person hired will be
expected to participate measurably in the life of the college.

Holy Cross College is a Catholic, liberal arts college sponsored by the
Brothers of Holy Cross. The college offers the bachelor of arts and
