Re: wheels come off - speed doubles?



If it were the outer member of a dual, and if all except one of the lugs failed or broke, and the remaining one were slightly loose before breaking near the top of its path, it might whipsaw the wheel forward.

Would that likely happen to two axles simultaneously?

Then, as it attempts to climb over the tire next forward, it might be accelerated more by it.
