Pascoe offers a several watt 'driver' that hooks up to your freq
generator and works great for this. It is a hefty speaker drive coil
etc. Their freq. generator now comes WITH digital display or
(cheaper) with 'just' a V out jack that lets your own digital
voltmeter provide the frequency read-out.

I trust that not MANY newbies will be tempted to put aside standing
waves. (Old timers who decide to are beyond help! ;-)
