Electrical and Magnetic interactions: Cahabay and Sherwood

Also on the site is a preprint by Chabay and Sherwood of a paper they
have completed last month summarizing much of the plot of their
electricity and magnetism text. They give due acknowledgement to the
work of Haerel in revising the link between electrostatics and current
electricity.  The paper is a good introduction to the development of
this model for any who have not had the time to per=use the complete
text.

Among other things they point out the weakness of the fluid flow
analogy for electric current.
