Re: The "two child problem"

One last (?) note on the two child problem: In the Sept. 1996 _Scientific
American_, Ian Stewart discusses this question in "Mathematical
Recreations". It's an example in a larger discussion of ideas on using
probability to evaluate the reliability of confessions (work by Robert
Matthews).
