My ISP has a program that they offer called "Spaminator." I don't know if
it is their proprietary application or one they purchased that is available
generally, but I'm sure there are other applications out there to
automatically trash messages from known spammers. I understand there are
not a huge number of them (spammers, that is), so if you can identify them
you can block anything coming from their direction and reduce the number of
spams that get through.

Don't despair. There is help out there.
