Yes, this person is Aristotelian. We ALL are, after starting experimentation
dropping spoons out of our high chairs at age 6 months. Aristotle makes
a lot of sense, and we need a powerful rationale for leaving him for other
understandings. I think this is John's point.

PS -- what IS that mysterious fifth force of nature that picks up and returns
objects to our hands no matter how many times they are dropped from a high
chair? Can M-theory or superstring theory explain it?

I may be wrong, but I think this person in a real Aristotlean. If I read
him correctly he is wondering what the heavier object falls the same way
as the lighter object. Or have I missread him?
