[Phys-L] Physics Puzzles

The recent thread on the Production Rate Of Gadgets evinced a lively 
interest from readers.
I sampled the online archive of such puzzles. From the Physics stack at 
Harvard:

to the smaller set at Don Simanek's physics puzzles web-site:
https://www.lhup.edu/~dsimanek/scenario/puzzles.htm

The former seemed framed to evoke a need for math analysis;
 the latter a more intriguing need for physical insight.

I suspect that much exposure to this Harvard style of puzzle might be
depressingly off-putting: the Simanek style might be more  inviting, if 
presented
appropriately.
