Yes, my understanding is that a number of colleges and universities
are
offering to enroll students displaced from their original schools due
to
the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. I know that we received a note
from
our
president here at Bridgewater College (Bridgewater, VA) stating that
we
are
participating in this effort.

And therefore it is NOT appropriate to this list for every
college/university to post such an announcement to a Physics Education
list.
