Hi Anthony,

I am not sure if you included shadow-stick (gnomon) astronomy in your list of activities. It deals with the Sun’s motion as observed on Earth. It is a great observation/experiment to run in the different seasons to see see how the shadow plot changes.

NSTA lists four activities with some learning outcomes, the misconceptions, and the procedures.
