Interesting. Rather than defining a new term, you just use delta p.
That makes sense.

My children had a 4th grade textbook with the following review question:
It takes a lot of ____ to stop an airplane.
The only reasonable choice was Force. Though that really contradicted the lesson which was about how small and large forces change the velocity of an object over time. The correct answer is Impulse. (Though humming birds would also make the statement true.)
