Why not give the 'consumer' credit for a bit of intelligence and use the same standard that the pro's require.

Instead of coming up with an inflated number that ALL 'Consumer' amps will use and hence loose the advantage of using the inflated number in the first place.

But, then - that's the glory of 'Standards'. We have soooo many of 'em to choose among ;-).
