If the claim of copper production cannot be verified this device may be another variation of a nickel + hydrogen battery perhaps aided by the secret catalyst. This type of battery is not well known but is available commercially in the US.

If the claim of copper production is verified perhaps this is evidence some of us live in alternate universes from others. I live in the universe where cooling a green LED causes it to turn yellow. Perhaps Rossi is in the universe where cooling a yellow LED turns it green, i.e, photon energy increases. Perhaps in that universe nuclear reactions work better at low energy and produce only low energy or stable products.
