Re: [Phys-l] teaching physics conceptually

The Anglican Book of Common Prayer had (has?) smaller type explanatory sentences printed in red which elucidated the actions of the priest.
In interesting, controversial 'Black Rubric' once 'explained' to the congregation that no cannibalism was actually taking place during Communion. It was in black type since it was directed at the congregants rather than the priest. But was referred to as a 'rubric' since it still fit the mold of being explanatory in nature.
