Re: [Phys-l] Grand Unification, SUSY and Baryogenesis.

What he thought was, the *concept* was incomplete, that a probabilistic theory could only explain so much, and that it had gone as far as it could. ("...by means of certain definite laid down basic concepts,... constitutes an optimum formulation of the connections... Offers no useful point of departure for future development.")

It would be hard to believe that anyone could do a better job on the debates than Mendel Sachs did in "Einstein versus Bohr," (on this page: http://www.compukol.com/mendel/publications/publications.html), but I will check those out. Thanks!

Interesting. I don't believe Einstein thought Quantum theory was wrong,
just incomplete. There are lots of interesting books which deal with his
debates with Bohr on this. I would recommend Huw Price's book " Time's Arrow
and Archimede' ' Point " Price is an Australian philosopher and in his book
he tries to make the case that Einstein and Bohr can be reconciled with a
better understanding of time. Might be worth your time.

Steve could you be specific? What's in conflict with reality? Of
course this surely could be wrong, most ideas about nature are. But it
would be very helpful if you could expand on why you think nature
can't work this way, I certainly welcome critical comment.
