Am new to Phys-l Digest. Thought this would be a great place to run new
ideas up the flagpole. I'm the Center Director for the National Center
for Earth and Space Science Education. For quite a while I wanted to
create a place where what I've learned about teaching physics,
particularly principals used in astronomy and space science, might be
available to a larger public. FINALLY I created Blog on the Universe
May 2009. But I'm not sure if it's useful, or at the right level. If
anyone can take a look and tell me what you think, that would be REALLY
helpful. It's hard to gauge a blog without some feedback.
Here's the URL, and read "About this Blog" http://blogontheuniverse.org
We believe that to continue the legacy of scientific exploration,
every generation must be inspired to learn what we know about our
world and the Universe, and how we have come to know it.
We also believe that it takes a community to educate a child, and a
network of communities to reach a generation.
