[Phys-l] Winding a transformer (was induced electric field)



I wonder if it would be helpful to notice that if one winds a one turn secondary coil on an energized transformer primary and its core, the output voltage across the ends of this one turn are sensibly similar no matter if the secondary turn's diameter is twice or four times the magnetic core's cross sectional width?
