[Phys-l] Concept questions for advanced level physics courses

Jeff Johnston of the Vanderbilt Center for Teaching posted a request (APPENDIX) on the POD (Professional and Organizational Development) discussion list for sources of concept questions for advanced level physics courses.

I wonder if any PhysLrnR or Phys-L subscribers have suggestions?

Subject: Concept questions for advanced level physics courses

Dear POD colleagues,

I'm working with a faculty member from the department of physics and astronomy at Vanderbilt who wants to do more to incorporate concept questions into his "modern physics" course.

While there seem to be many sources of concept questions for introductory physics courses he has found few sources of concept questions for more advanced physics courses.

Rather than starting from scratch, he is looking for relevant resources that he can incorporate and build on. Specifically, the course is a second semester modern physics course for physics majors.

Do you know of sources of concept questions for advanced level physics courses?
