A team of 24 high school physics students will be selected to represent
the United States at the 37th International Physics Olympiad, July 8-17,
at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Applications are due by
January 23 to receive consideration for this year’s team.

AAPT HELPS SEND “YOUNG PHYSICS AMBASSADORS” TO TAIWAN SYMPOSIUM

AAPT is taking the lead in coordinating a delegation of “young physics
ambassadors” to a symposium in Taiwan. Six “ambassadors” and one leader
from the United States, and students and leaders from five developing
countries have been invited to participate. For more information on the
