[Phys-L] Re: Lab DMM Recommendations?

RAFT sells cheapies (very) for somewhat less than $10. [I remember $4
*]. They are 3 1/2 digit. Checking w/ a std. cell I get 1.013 instead
of 1.018, however, it's cold in my atelier.

* Couldn't be much more, otherwise I wouldn't have bought several to
keep in each room of our home, as I do reading glasses.

cerch results in ~ $10. this one yours?

RAFT has plans to expand to the East Bay, eventually they'll reach Kansas.

Some of the old Simpsons et al. (d'Arsonval) had a sensitive relay and
were at least fool proof, if not student proof.

bc, who thinks dmm was a step backwards -- th only thing equal, i.e.
visually fast, are computers, e.g. Vernier.

Basically your fuses are fused by the meter. :-)

Sorry, couldn't resist the potential of that one.
