Hmmm...the garbled phrase 'Cambridge University' otherwise given as
'<http://www.google.com/search?q=Elingsh+uinervtisy>Elingsh<http://www.google.com/search?q=Elingsh+uinervtisy>
uinervtisy'...

..is part of a self-evidently understandable though garbled proposition,
which by the way has found itself in fourteen languages after a year
or two of circulation.

It is not necessary that a demonstrated proposition in written English
be itself a true statement. The truth in question is its garbling.

Hence, it would be better not to call this an urban legend.
Especially as the Psych department member in question cannot possibly
provide evidence of its non-primogeniture at one of the
Cambridge colleges.

Brian Whatcott Altus OK Eureka!
