Other sites you might consider are Caltech in Pasadena, and nearby JPL
(probably requires some advance arrangements), also the Museum of
Science and Industry near USC, La Brea Tar Pits, the Huntington Museum
and Gardens in San Marino (great view of the Raymond Fault just in front
of the Museum), etc.

Subject: Scientific sites in L.A.
I am planning a trip to Los Angeles next week and would like to visit=
as many places of scientific interest as I can fit in. For example =
I am planning to visit Mt. Wilson and Edwards Air Force Base. Any ad=
ditional suggestions for important museums, laboratories, etc in sout=
hern California would be much appreciated.
