One advantage of a big text is it can later be used for reference.
However, this likely only applies to Jr/Sr ones. e.g. I think we only
covered about half of Jenkins and White, and I refer it to this day,
same for Harnwell (Principles of E and EM).

I agree w/ L. for intro Physics, tho mainly for the cost. A gentleman
and a scholar will over the Summer read the parts missed during the course.

bc, who used Frank as a Sophomore and lost it.

p.s. I don't know if Feynman, L. and S. is used outside of CIT, but I
use it for reference, as I do Eisberg and Lerner's intro tome.
