Fusion is the transition from a liquid to a solid. The counterpart t=
o "fusion" is "melting". (I can't think of any synonym for "melting"=
that ends in "ion".) Also, I prefer the term "desublimation" to "de=
position". Thus, I would list the phase transitions as follows:
vaporization - condensation
sublimation - desublimation
melting - fusion
