Re: Good popular books for 6-10 grade

With no college courses under my belt, I enjoyed "The God Particle" - Leon
Ledderman, "The 30 Years That Shook Physics" - can't remember, sorry, "What
Do You Care What Other People Think" - Feynman, "Powers of Ten" - Philip &
Phylis Morrison, "The Guide to The Galaxy" - Henbest & Couper, and there
was one on cloud chambers that I can't find, maybe that was "The 30
Years..", can't remember.

Hi,

Our regional science fair is coming up in about 3 weeks. The
physics department typically gives out monetary prizes for the the top
couple high school and middle school entries. We'd like to include a fun
or interesting book that is level-appropriate as well. Does anyone have
suggestions for popular books that kids in the 6-10th grade bracket might
find enjoyable?

Thanks!
Mark
