If in fact it turns out that Davies & company are correct here, the theorists
are going to be spending a lot of time at their black boards. Of course the
fact that Davies hasn't submitted a paper to the LANL archive yet, might
mean the data isn't as solid as these press releases would have one believe.
Nevertheless, due the immense impact this discovery would have if it turns
out to be correct I felt it was worthy of being sent to the list, especially
as an illustration how time and time again it's the experimenters in science
that usher in new revolutions, not the theorists.
