Hi Dan,
It was good to chat with you'll in Boise. Lunch was illuminating. I have
a suggestion for a book you might find interesting. It is Phil Kitcher's
Science, Truth, and Democracy.
Others on the list who are concerned about the role of science in the
world might find it interesting as well. It is written for an educated
audience, not professional philosophers...that is not to say philosophers
are not educated...most are.
