HIGH SCHOOL PHYSICS PHOTO CONTEST
AAPT is now accepting entries for the 2002 High School Physics Photo
Contest. The contest is open to all high school students. Photos will be
judged on the quality of the photo and the accuracy of the physics in the
explanation that accompanies the photograph. Deadline for entry is June 1,

APPARATUS COMPETITION
The 125th AAPT National Meeting in Boise, Idaho will feature an Apparatus
Competition. Prizes range from $100 up to $1,000. All Apparatus
Competition applications are due by June 1, 2002. To obtain an entry form
or to get more information about the competition, visit the Apparatus

2002 U.S. PHYSICS TEAM MEMBERS
The AAPT would like to congratulate the recently announced members of the

2002 PHYSICS BOWL CONTEST
The AAPT would like to congratulate the winners of the 2002 AAPT/Knowles
Science Teaching Foundation Physics Bowl. Nearly 7,500 high school
students from nearly 400 schools participated. Scholarships were awarded
to the highest overall scorers, the highest scorers in each region, and
the second-place student in the region. For more information please go to:
