They said it was acoustic but not hi-fidelity and aimed more at 8 to 12 year
olds but there was a hint that car radio speakers that used the glass
windows were a possible offshoot.



I had a dorm mate back in the mid-60's who got 'one of these' (or at
least something that WORKS
like what you described.)
It used a wood screw to attach to a door etc.
He was quite excited about the possibilities and more than a bit
discouraged at the actual results.
