For those with too much time on their hands, take a look at how CA viewed
middle school instructional materials - the review committee gave them high
marks, in stark contrast to this report.  Go to
http://www.cde.ca.gov/cilbranch/eltdiv/cdsmc.htm and click on 2000 Science
Materials Adoption.

It's a sad state of affairs.
