Radians ARE units, just as degrees are. They're dimensionless.

Since I can measure both, how can they have no dimensions?

arc length divided by radius -- meters cancel meters

Then this would then be similar to ideal and actual mechanical
advantages - still I can't measure those directly they are calculated
values and I don't think radians/degrees are calculated values.
