Retesting...was Extra Credit

What does the group feel about offering students some retest opportunities? I
think this was mentioned before but not discussed.
When I do this the retest has a maximum value--I may allow them to raise the
grade to the average of the two. It is not extra credit but they do have another
opportunity to demonstrate that they can apply the material.
