This is why we have taken to articulating directly with our local High
Schools. I have found that it is easier to get all of us "on the same
page" if they don't have to teach to one specific test, that they have no
voice in developing.
I give some questions that I think should be on the test, and then ask them
to develop more. We have had good rapport thus far. We have also
developed some GREAT experiemtns and collaborative exercises.
Maybe, being a TYC, we have more flexibility in forming these partnerships
with local High Schools, but it works for us. I highly recommend it!
