Re(2): Units

For those that wish to call the system of units, which you (generally
South of the 49th parallel) insist on hanging on to, "English" or
"British." So your pint has 2 1/2 cups? Your gallon is equal to 4.55 L
(If that seems out by about 4% even with the previous point taken into
account, we can then get into the volume of those things it takes 8 of to
make a cup!)

Might this not be easier than trying to change the units

Can't we all start trying to get the NAME of this unit system correct?

It should properly be referred to now as the US Customary Unit System.

we can't keep blaming the English since they have had the common
sense to adopt the metrics!
