Re: more on whiteboards

Dan,

I keep a running copy of my Monday and Wednesday lecture notes at these
addresses:

http://www.mctc.mnscu.edu/~carlsoro.faculty/physastr/physics/phys100/mon/mon.h
tm

The pen/pad device I use is manufactured by Wacom and is called a Pen Partner.

The software is something I've written and I call it Lecture Notes. The
interface is similar to Paint, and with a pen/pad you can write on screen,
paste images, etc. Although you can use a mouse, writing is very difficult.
When you save the file, the software creates an htm file with links to
automatically created jpg images of your lecture notes. Although GIF files
would be better for this application, Unisys wanted too much money to use
this file format.

The software runs on Windows 95, 98 and NT. If you wish to evaluate the
Lecture Notes software, I can send you an attached zip file.

Bob:

What is the manufacturer of the pen/pad and the name of your software? Can
we view your notes online somewhere? I'm interested in trying your system,
or at least assessing it.
