I tried this. But as soon as I drilled the hole, all the air pressure
leaked out.

Try inflating it with Solid Gas. Don't mix in too much imaginary
catalyst, or it will solidify before you have a chance to inflate the
cube. Don't breath any, or the whole mental procedure will become far too
