Herb,
Just in case you have no request for your AJP journals,
anyone request them yet? I am talking with some people in my department
to
see if there is any interest. However, with the recent holiday I
haven't
heard back yet. Thanks.

To Sam Held... and others who are interested..

So far I have received 9 requests including one from Russia and one from
Spain who pleaded for these journals which are otherwise impossible for
them to obtain. However, the cost of shipping 150 pounds of journals to a
foreign country are prohibitive for me to undertake myself. I also have
extra copies of TPT that I would be happy to send overseas to needy
schools if someone would underwright the shipping costs. If anyone can
help with the SPECIFIC NAME of a person at the UN, UNESCO, or foundation
that would be interested and have funds available
contact me .... or post your response to this list for others who have
books or physics equipment to donate.

I have almost every copy of the American Journal of Physics
from 1960 to 1995 on my bookshelves at home. I am offering
them FREE to any physics teacher, library, or school that has
a genuine need for these back copies and is willing to reimburse
me for the shipping costs. All are in good condition.
They weigh about 125-150 pounds.

Please reply to my personal address below. If I receive more than
one request by the end of November, I''ll put the names in a
Leyden jar and have my wife pick out the lucky one.
