Catalytic converters can 'burn' CO and other products of incomplete
combustion, but only if the 'right amount' of atmospheric O2 is pumped into
the converter.

Seems to me that the ONLY 'Carbon Free' energy options we have are fission
and fusion. (Solar = fusion)
