tan(theta)/theta=>1 , as theta approaches 0, but only in radian units.

And if one took seriously the notion of angular dimension, one could write
that, for angle x,

x/sin(x) and x/tan(x) => 1 radian = 180/pi degree = 1/(2pi) cycle as x => 0.

with no need to restrict the units to be employed for x.

.... not that I advocate that we teach this, of course.
